MyBizExchange is used for sensitive owner transitions. Our focus is practical risk reduction: secure account access, role-limited data access, and seller-controlled confidentiality settings.
How we protect your account and data
- Account access: Sign-in is handled through managed authentication providers (including one-time links/OAuth), not homegrown password-only flows.
- Role-based access: Buyer, seller, broker, and admin workflows are separated so users only see data needed for their role.
- Confidential listing controls: Sellers can hide business name, identifying photos, and sensitive financial detail until they choose to share more.
- Platform abuse controls: We monitor/report suspicious behavior and enforce marketplace rules to reduce spam and low-quality outreach.
Security controls reduce risk; they do not eliminate the need for careful buyer/seller due diligence.
What we review vs what you still must verify
- We review: listing completeness, obvious policy violations, and suspicious activity patterns.
- We do not guarantee: business financial accuracy, legal compliance, or transaction outcomes.
- You should still verify: financial statements, licenses, contracts, tax records, and legal standing before any transaction.
