Key Numbers

Use round numbers if you aren’t sure — we’re looking for ballpark to guide the conversation.
SDE ≈ profit before owner salary + owner perks + one-time costs.
Many main-street businesses trade around 2–3× SDE, with exceptions.
Optional: real estate, inventory (at cost), vehicles/equipment, trademarks, domains, software, etc.

Operations & Transferability

Buyers pay more when the business can run without you on day 1.
Net positive after paying yourself; show trends if seasonal.
Checklists/videos for sales, ops, fulfillment, and handover.
Reduces owner-dependence; even part-time coverage helps.
Helpful before closing: key customer/vendor contracts, training plan, escrowed logins/domains, and a 30–60–90 day transition.
